Japanese Geeks Play With Customs And Learn English

Cosplish_For_Otaku For a moment like this we’ve all waited: how young Japanese geeks learn English? With girls dressed as anime heroes.

It seems that the young geeks (known also as Otaku) are so shy that they can only look on the teacher if she will wear a custom. So a quick entrepreneur did the math and opened a school that offers courses in English dedicated to these sensitive guys. The new term for this: Cosplish (custom + English).

Yohei Suzuki, the owner of the new school, is highly familiar with satisfying the needs of Tokyo geeks. His former business was a “maid bar” where the waitresses were dressed as maids, another popular hangout place for young geeks.

So following this trend we can now expect to see in the futures comic stores with salespersons as DragonBall, and some taxi drivers in NYC dressed as Fullmetal alchemist.
